Points raisedSpecific issues and any actions required
Questions raised by fans re ticketing. Some fans have asked why was the price of the full price season card so much higher than the Early Bird Season card? We are always looking to reward loyalty and early commitment, which is why the Early Bird offer is priced so competitively.   Why is there a transaction fee of £1.50 on every ticket purchased and not on every transaction? £1.50 charge is added to PA and children’s tickets too. Why is there a £1.50 charge for travel to Rangers at the weekend? Transaction fees are in place to help cover administrative and processing costs. However, we continually review all aspects of pricing and charges with our partners to ensure fairness and value for supporters. The club makes no profit from these transactions.   Is it possible to meet with Seat Geek? Yes, it’s certainly possible to meet with SeatGeek. As a first step, it would be helpful to pull together a list of the key topics or questions you’d like to discuss. We’ll then engage with them directly to gather the relevant information and come back to you with a summary before arranging any further meeting, if needed.
Questions raised by fans re new kit sales. Were there Burnley labels on some of the new kits? We do not know if this was a credible post on social media. If this did happen, we would raise this with our retail partner and suppliers to confirm. It’s important all kits meet our brand standards, and we’ll follow up on any concerns raised.   Is there a consistent tone of Boro red in use for all shirts, badges etc? Maintaining a strong visual identity is important to us. While some variation may occur due to materials and production methods, we work to ensure consistency in our iconic Boro red wherever possible.   Can fans design the away kit, possibly for the anniversary season? (Shrewsbury fans have designed their away kit this season.) We’re always keen to explore more fan involvement in creative areas. I will be able to confirm more around our 150 plans in the coming months.
MSF request for Food Bank dates. Can collections be made for the Food Bank? MSF usually do 4 collections a season. Absolutely. The club remains fully supportive of Food Bank efforts and we’re happy to work with MSF to agree on a set of dates for the coming season. Craig McManus to link with Caroline Walker to arrange.   Could charities have exclusivity so as not to dilute donations? We recognise this concern and will look at ways to better coordinate activity, ensuring each charitable collection has the best possible impact.
Boro North America group visit for 150th anniversary.         This prompted MSF to suggest an International Day.Jeff Collins requested information on who to contact about some members of the Boro North America fan group, coming to the Riverside at the start of the Anniversary season. Who should he liaise with to secure a group of seats together etc? Craig McManus has linked in Matt Barber and Matt has contacted Jeff to discuss planning and scheduling   Is an International Day feasible?  This is something we could potentially consider. It aligns well with our ambitions to recognise and celebrate all our global fans
