Questions from fansDiscussionOutcome/Actions
Can we have a wider range of soft drinks?

Can MFC reduce the queues for soft drinks in concourses?

Do MFC still sell bottles of water?
Can fans fill up their own water bottles?
As part of MFC’s partnership with Coca Cola, a wider range of soft drinks will be on offer at more locations around the stadium. Last season MFC offered 4 soft drinks (Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Oasis) and water. This season MFC will offer 6 soft drinks (Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite Zero, Fanta Orange, Dr Pepper, Oasis) and Water. Sprite Zero is a sugar free option.

To reduce queues, fridges have been installed into 10 additional areas within the concourse. Old Unibet Kiosks that were turned into express draught beer bars now have a fridge for fans to purchase soft drinks.

Bottles of water are available to purchase from all concourse bars & kiosks.
These drinks will be available for the friendly vs Deportivo La Coruna & beyond.

MFC to look into extra drinking water dispensers around the stadium and the opportunity to sell branded reusable bottles at nearby kiosks.
Can we have the option of a pale ale?

Can MFC sell bottled beers?
MFC have added Camden Pale Ale to 7 bar areas on the concourse. These can be located at Con 3 (NW Lower), Con 7 (North), Con 8 (North), Con 26a (South), Con 31 (South West Lower), Con 34 (South West Upper), Con 37 (South West Upper).

MFC are unable to sell beers in glass bottles for safety reasons. MFC can sell canned beers, but regulations state that the drinks must be decanted.

Can MFC offer a wider range of confectionery and crisps?

Can we have Pringles back?
MFC have a new partnership with Cadbury’s to provide fans with a wider range of confectionary. Twix Xtra, Wispa Duo, Boost Duo, Chocolate Buttons, Wine Gums and Fizzy Fish bags (Vegan) will be available to purchase.

Pringles were replaced last season with bags of crisps. However, because of requests from fans, Pringles will be back on sale again this coming season. The number of flavours on offer will be increased from 2 to 3 (Original, BBQ, Sour Cream).

Can MFC offer a wider range of hot food?

Will the range of food/drink be advertised to supporters?

How are fans with allergies made aware of ingredients?       Could MFC offer a Meal Deal?
Recently installed new ovens allow the catering team to fry less foods and can cook more premium & healthier products. Last season, the chicken in the Parmo was no longer deep fried. That will continue into this season. MFC will offer a new premium burger this season. It will be 50% bigger than last season’s burger, contain 100% beef and be served in a brioche bun. 3 types of pies will be available: All Steak, Chicken Balti and Vegan Chicken and Mushroom. MFC would like to extend their range of hot food further, but the kiosks are now working at capacity. They are exploring other areas.

Digital menu boards will continue to highlight the food/drink for sale and pricing. This will include extras such as garlic sauce. Customers will continue to be asked if they would like to add a sachet of Garlic Sauce when ordering a Parmo in a bun.

There are allergen labels on all sealed pre-packaged hot food and allergen information is readily available upon request at the Bars/Kiosks of all other foods   At present MFC do not offer a meal deal. MFC have offered meal deals in previous seasons however the uptake was minimal.
Fan suggested Quorn Chicken burgers as a vegetarian option. MFC to look into this.

MFC to look at the use of their official website to advertise the range of foods available on a match day and the allergens those foods contain.

MFC to look at ways to potentially reintroduce a Meal Deal.
Will the Fanzone be extended?

Will more toilets be provided in the Fanzone?
Ideas to extend the Fanzone are being explored. Ideas include extending and weatherproofing the Fanzone to make it more of a year-round venue. .    MFC to continue to develop ideas/planning for the Fanzone.

MFC to look at opening a “Can/Bottle Bar” in the Fanzone as an additional service point for fans to buy a beer/cider or soft drink.

MFC to look at increasing toilet provision in the Fanzone
Any other ideas to speed up the service? There has been praise from fans, particularly those in the East Stand, about the reduction in queuing times at the concourse bars. MFC will continue to try to further reduce waiting times. There has been an additional till point and “T-bar” beer fonts with dedicated pourers installed at Concession 30 (Southwest Lower). If this speeds up the service, MFC will look to roll out more. Self-Order outlets in the North Stand have proved popular, allowing fans to order drinks pre match, for half time.
Can fans now redeem their Chairman’s Drink voucher at the self-service units?Fans can redeem their drinks voucher at the self-service collection area, but will need to use the tills situated there. Some fans are still reluctant to use the self-service bars. At present fans cannot use an App to order their drinks, due to the connectivity issues in the Stadium.Staff can be available to assist at the Self-Serve Units.
Will there be more food options for children in the Family Zone? There is no change to the children’s menu in the Family Zone. Other options have been trialled in the past, but sales have been low.MFC to investigate other potential options for Children in the Family Zone.
Are sleeves now being provided for hot drink cups?Sleeves are available at the kiosks, next to each of the till points.
Has the new system for ordering food from the Disabled Deck been put in place now?The system of ordering food from the Disabled Deck in the South-West Corner has been improved. 3 members of the concourse catering team will take and distribute the orders. One member of staff will be permanently stationed on the Disabled Deck in the South-West Corner.
