Bank Account | The MSF Account became subject to bank charges from Jan 2025. Alternative banking options discussed. | Resolved that MSF will open an account with a suitable Credit Union that has been identified. |
Code of Conduct | Code of Conduct suggested by FSA was discussed. Very wordy document may need to be shortened and separated from the Constitution section of MFS website. Discussion about the definition of some of the terms given in the document. | Resolved to adopt the Code of Conduct recommended by the FSA, but include slight changes, to make it more relevant to the Forum. Resolved to add to the Constitution that, ‘All members must abide by the Code of Conduct’, and a hyper link to be provided from the Constitution to the Code of Conduct. MSF to contact website manager to update the documentation. |
Withdrawal of a fans group from MSF | Issue of alleged breach of confidentiality was discussed. The issue concerned a Representative from one of the fans’ groups. MSF are disappointed that the group has stepped away from the Forum. | MSF decided to accept the resignation of the individual concerned. Due to the voluntary resignation, no further action will be taken regarding the alleged breach of confidentiality. MSF wish to make it clear that they welcome further representation from the group. |
Rainbow Ball Week | This week is Rainbow Ball Week. It aims to highlight homophobia and fight against it. The project is FSA funded, and money to support this aim, will be given for every goal scored. Some of the funding for My Boro My Shirt came from last season’s Homophobia Month of Action and the use of the Rainbow Match Ball. | MSF to promote and support the aims of Rainbow Ball Week. Part of the My Boro, My Shirt exhibition, highlighting the diversity of Boro fans, has been moved to Mima for the Royal visit this week. It is planned to be displayed to the public at Land of Iron for half term Feb 24th. |
